Our First Annual St. Matthew Parish Ministry Fair Received a Wonderful Response!!

Over 800 parishioners participated in a very successful first Annual St. Matthew Parish Ministry Fair. The fair was held on September 17, 2006, showcasing over 50 unique parish ministries and programs. Information displays and materials were displayed, in our new Parish Hall.

Volunteers were available to share information and answer questions about each ministry.
Over 700 parishioners enthusiastically chose to give of their time and talents by signing up to participate in a parish ministry!
Children enjoyed balloons, activities, and shared in the fun!
Delicious refreshments and socializing were provided, by the Parish Hospitality Committee, and were enjoyed by all.

Stewardship is a way of life in which we live each day expressing gratitude to God for his gifts to us by returning them back to him. Stewardship includes sharing our time and talents and our treasure. Special thanks to Hank and Tess Wilkinson who served as our stewardship lay witnesses, all ministry coordinators that participated in the fair and to all of you that have given of your time and talent to our parish.

The Stewardship Council’s mission is to help to encourage our faith community to grow spiritually by living as good and faithful stewards. The council members are: Jeff and Judy Troxell (chairs), Jim and Debbie Busey, Keith and Susan Restad, David and Leanne Schug, Brian and April Stark, Daniel and Hilary Wells.
