Coming Home Program - A Coming Home Program will be held in the St. Mark room on Sunday evenings in October, beginning on the 5th, at 7:00 pm. If you know of anyone who has been separated from the Catholic Church or does not attend Mass anymore, please complete a note card located in the pews of church or in the vestibule and place in the “Coming Home” box. They will be invited to these casual and informative gatherings to address questions and or concerns they may have. The Great Adventure Bible Study Program "Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom", builds on The Bible Timeline and Matthew by showing how Christ’s Kingdom on earth is empowered to carry out His work in the world. The book of Acts shows the Church, enlivened by the Holy Spirit, teaching, preaching, healing, and restoring outcasts in the same way that Jesus did on earth. The Acts of the Apostles provides an historic framework for understanding the rest of the New Testament. Paul’s letters in particular come alive in a new way when they are read within the context of the Acts narrative. This 20-session study begins October 14th and will be held on Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00 am in the St. Mark Room AND 7:00-9:00 pm in the Great Hall. To register contact the parish office at 359-4224.
Smart Martha Seminar Saturday, November 15, 2008 9:00-2:00 I really want to be like Mary and spend time with Jesus but . . . I really do have to get the breakfast dishes done. I want to spend time playing with my kids, but all I find myself doing is picking up after them. I want to have a sit-down dinner with my family, but I have to pick someone up after practice. I want to spend time praying alone, but my children need help with their homework. I want to have a date night with my husband, but I am out of milk and need to go to the store.
