Holy Hour for Vocations July 3, 4:30-5:30 pm All are welcome to join in prayer at church for our priests and religious, as well as an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.

Altar Server Training This summer, we will be instructing new Altar servers for the upcoming year. Any St. Matthew parish student, who has completed the 5th grade and is enrolled in the St. Matthew School or in the parish CCD program, is invited to attend one of the following training sessions that will be held in the church: Tuesday July 8 9:00-10:00 am Thursday July 10 6:00-7:00 pm Please call the parish office (359-4224) to let us know which instruction session best fits your schedule.
Emmaus Days for Boys Lord, help me to want to be what you want me to be A summer retreat promoting vocations to the priesthood in the Diocese of Peoria. The retreat is beneficial for all young men who are interested in growing in holiness, not just for those discerning a vocation to the priesthood. The sessions are centered around the celebration of the Sacraments, and combine prayer, talks on various subjects, and free time for games and other fun activities. For more information on Emmaus Days Retreats, contact the Office of Vocations in Peoria, or talk to Fr. Mark for an application. Applications may also be obtained online. The fee for Emmaus Days is $60/person.

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration
Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration 24/7 in the Eucharistic Chapel at St. Matthew Parish Center. Catholics from all Central Illinois parishes are encouraged to sign-up to be scheduled adorers. The program needs more adorers. Young Singles Young Married
We are a group of parishioners who come together to enjoy fellowship with one another, deepen our spirituality, and provide service to others. The age range of our members is very loosely defined, but our members generally are college age and older. We welcome single men and women, married couples with and without children, those with religious vocations, and divorced, separated, and widowed parishioners. Click here for a schedule of events.
