"Plant the seed. Time to grow.
The tree grows tall. It needs sun and rain. A young tree is called a seedling.
The tree needs the bees. An apple blossom does not grow unless it is visited by the bees.
Apples come in 3 colors - red, green, and yellow. Yum! What a treat to eat!"

"We learned that pollen sticks to the bodies of bees when they are searching for nectar.
We put our hand into a bowl of Cheetos (pollen) in search of the life savers (nectar) in the bottom.
When we removed our hands, they were covered with orange dust -
just like the pollen that sticks to the bodies of bees!"
