Morning Offering

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your sacred heart.  Amen.

Religion
We were able to attend Mass two times this week!  We also met with our saint families to do a service project.  The children made shamrocks for soldiers.  In our religion books, we talked about how Jesus teaches us to love God.

Language Arts/Reading

We worked hard this week reviewing long vowels. We also learned how important it is to make inferences while reading.  The children learned about adding –er and –est when comparing words.  There will not be reading A-Z coming home today because of the shortened reading time on Friday.
