Welcome back everyone!! We are going to be making some changes to the scrip program this year and I hope to it will make scrip ordering a little easier for everyone.

First, for those of you unfamiliar with scrip, it is a program that raises funds for our parent club. You purchase your gas, grocery, restaurant, and clothing gift certificates thru the school at no additional fee to you and our school gets a percentage back. Every month I will send out a reminder for your order. If you ever have any questions regarding the program please email me at laurahettinger@mac.com or call me at 377-5114.

So how do I order and what can I order? You order online at www.shopwithscrip.com and you make a family account by using our school enrollment code: 181B6A3312491. They have a huge list of participating vendors, from mobile gas to Gymboree. We also have some local vendors such as: County Market, Manzella’s, Culver’s, The Pottery Place, and Za’s. You can order your local vendor favorites on the website as well!!

After you place your order on the website you can either send a check in to the school office marked SCRIP, or pay via presto pay online.

If you are interested in receiving 50% of your scrip rebate, instead of 100% allocation to the school, please sign the enrollment form and return on fee day.

What is Scrip???
(For those of you who are new to the school/program)

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money.” When you purchase scrip, you are purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash. The national and local retailers issue the scrip where many of you already shop. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like clothing, gas, and other essentials. Or, you can purchase these to be given away as birthday/Christmas gifts, etc. With every purchase you make, we earn revenue for our school.

Each vendor rebates a certain percentage back to our school; (see order form). Unless you sign off to have 100% of that rebate allocated to Parents Club, then you are automatically enrolled in the Tuition Rebate Program, in which 50% of the rebate will go back to YOU! (Payments made in January 2009 and June 2009 (when cumulative rebate is greater than $5).
