What is Scrip and how do I get started???

Scrip is a program that raises funds for our parent club.  You purchase your gas, grocery, restaurant, and clothing gift certificates thru the school at face value and the vendors rebate a certain percentage back to our school (see order form).  Keep this in mind when you have birthday or Christmas gifts coming up. Every month I will send out a reminder for your order. 

So how do I order and what can I order?  You order online at www.shopwithscrip.com and you make a family account by using our school enrollment code:  181B6A3312491.  They have a huge list of participating vendors, from Mobile Gas to Meijer, Gymboree or Chili’s.  We also have some local vendors such as: County Market, Manzella’s, C&A, Culver’s, The Pottery Place, and Za’s.  You can order your local vendor favorites on the website as well!!

After you place your order on the website you can either send a check in to the school office marked SCRIP, or pay via presto pay online. Then I will send the cards home the following week in an envelope in your child’s folder.

On Fee Day you can decide if you would like to allocate 100% of the rebate to the school, or receive 50% of the rebate back to YOU!  Checks will be made in January and June 2012 (when cumulative rebate is greater than $5).
