Here’s What You Need to do Today

(Checks should be made out to St. Matthew.)

1. Complete Enrollment Form and return to the Scrip table on Fee Day.
2. The first order is due Friday 8/29/08.  You may either place your first order at the Scrip table or return the order form with payment in an envelope marked “Scrip” to the school office.  The Scrip tray is in the office. 
3. You MUST complete the ENROLLMENT FORM before placing an order.
4. Refer below to the due dates for orders and dates that the scrip cards will come home with your designated child.
5. Please refer to the Week at a Glance section on St. Matthew’s web page for current Scrip information, a copy of the Enrollment Form and latest Order Form.
6. Scrip can make shopping and gift-giving easier for you!  Plan ahead and buy gift cards where you know you will eat shop or purchase gas!

 What is Scrip???
(For those of you who are new to the school/program)

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money.”  When you purchase scrip, you are purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash.  The national and local retailers issue the scrip where many of you already shop.  You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like clothing, gas, and other essentials.  Or, you can purchase these to be given away as birthday/Christmas gifts, etc.  With every purchase you make, we earn revenue for our school.

Each vendor rebates a certain percentage back to our school; (see order form).  Unless you sign off to have 100% of that rebate allocated to Parents Club, then you are automatically enrolled in the Tuition Rebate Program, in which 50% of the rebate will go back to YOU! (Payments made in January 2009 and June 2009 (when cumulative rebate is greater than $5).
