ORDER of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

• Have you ever thought about becoming Catholic?
• Are you Catholic, but did not receive all the sacraments?
• Are you a fully initiated Catholic who has been away from the Church?

Then OCIA is the place to start!

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process used by the Catholic Church to present the beliefs of our Faith to those adults who have made a conscious decision to explore coming into full communion with the Church. You have an opportunity to ask questions, to pray, to grow in community, and to learn more about the Catholic Church. Throughout the OCIA process, there are moments where you will have the chance to make increasing levels of commitment towards becoming Catholic. But to start, all you need is a healthy curiosity and an open heart. 

Sessions are held August to May on Wednesday evenings. Our "Come and See" Intro Night is Wednesday, August 12 at 6:30 pm in Feeney Hall. Join us to learn more and take the next steps on your faith journey. Refreshments will be served.
